On Saturday, Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane organized a ceremony for distributing diplomas to graduates of the 25th batch, in the presence, in particular, of His Majesty’s Advisor, Mr. André Azoulay, and members of the university’s administrative council.
occasion, the distinguished student, Hafsa Bouzekri, on behalf of the rest of her colleagues, reviewed the achievements achieved by the university in various national and international competitions, especially the Major Field Test, the National Robotics Championship, and the University Championship for Individual Sports, in addition to the success of 10 emerging companies that were awarded. According to Hafsa, the university’s 25th cohort is distinguished by its diversity and ability to navigate a changing world in which artificial intelligence occupies an important place at all levels.
During this year, Hafsa Bouzekri says, Al Akhawayn University will continue the path of excellence included in its strategic plan 2020-2025, which places the quality of teaching, student openness, employment, and taking initiative at the core of its priorities.
The twenty-fifth cohort of Al Akhawayn University includes 548 male and female graduates in 14 majors belonging to 14 nationalities, including 57 percent of women.
The number of graduates from Al Akhawayn University since its founding in 1995 has reached 7,553 male and female graduates, who contribute to the development and radiance of Morocco and the African continent.
Hafsa Bouzkari added in her speech, which everyone applauded ،I am thrilled to announce that I have officially graduated from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane with honors, cum laude “جيد”, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a double concentration in Management and Marketing.
These past four years and a half have been an incredible journey of learning, growth, and unforgettable experiences. From the very beginning, I have been challenged and inspired in ways I never imagined. This journey has fostered not just academic growth, but also personal development, resilience, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world around me.
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my parents and family. Your unwavering support, love, and encouragement have been the foundation of my journey. A special thanks to my brother Hamza Bouzekri; thank you for believing in me, providing the strength I needed, and always being my biggest cheerleader.
A special shoutout to the Al Akhawayn School of Business Administration, Dean Lakshmi Goel, Associate Dean Harit SATT, PhD, DBA, and President Amine Bensaid. Your commitment to excellence and fostering a dynamic learning environment has prepared me well for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
